Matt Kelleghan [Retired]
_ In 1989, on invitation from the Arts Council of Ireland, Matt became involved as one of the founding members with the newly formed innovative Rock School. He currently holds the position of Coordinator.
This was the first course of it’s type in Europe and it was decided that it should be professionals from the music industry who would put the program together.
Matt the Drummer
As former drummer with Moving Hearts, he toured extensively for many years. The band had a huge worldwide fan base and achieved gold and platinum sales status. After seeing the band performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Van Morrison invited the Hearts to record on his album “ Sense of Wonder’”. The last Moving Hearts studio album “The Storm” is rated as one of the most innovated albums in the history of Irish music. The grooves created by Matt has had a huge influence on the development of modern Irish music, Riverdance, Kila to name but a few………..

Front of house sound engineer for many artists including Planxty, Christy Moore, Makem and Clancy, Canned Heat and Mary Black to name but a few…….
Matt the Production Manager
As production manager for the Temple Bar Blues Festival, Matt was responsibe for the memorable College Green gigs with many iconic artists including
BB King, Rory Gallagher, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. He was the first Production Manager of the St Patrick’s Day Festival Dublin and famously turned the river Liffey green for the one and only time.
Matt the Event Manager
The 2fm Beat-On-The-Street, was the longest running touring program for RTE and it was one of biggest out door events in many towns and city’s all over Ireland for many years. Skymarch Event Management were responsible for all aspects of the production of Beat-On-The-Street. Matt is the founder of Skymarch Event Management.
